In order to control your irrigation, we need to take into account rainfall, humidity and wind speed data. This is why you need to have a Windcrop and a Raincrop nearby.
The positioning of the station is fundamental to ensure accurate data collection. A few prerequisites must be followed:
Place the station in a flat, open area with no obstructions and no shadows.
Your Raincrop and Windcrop stations should be at least 2 metres apart to avoid shadows or interference with the measurements.
The rain gauge should be placed at a height of approximately 1.5 metres.
Stations should be located at least 10 times the height of the nearest obstacle.
Check that the Windcrop is facing north.
Place the Solarcrop south on the Windcrop mast.
⚠️ Check that the Solarcrop is level using the built-in spirit level.
Incorrect sensor tilt will result in inaccurate or falsified data.
